We are thrilled to share the exciting news of a recent collaboration between Grupo Puntacana and LUX Tennis!
On November 30th, the Oscar de la Renta Tennis Center in Punta Cana hosted an unforgettable LT Star Event, featuring former world No. 1 and current world No. 3, Carlos Alcaraz, one of the brightest tennis stars in the world.
This extraordinary event brought together prominent figures from the tennis world and the Dominican Republic, offering an inspiring experience for both tennis enthusiasts and young players in the region.
The event began with a press conference featuring Carlos Alcaraz and notable figures, including Mr. Frank Elías Rainieri, President and CEO of Grupo Puntacana; Mr. Joan Soler, Founder and CEO of LUX Tennis; and Mrs. Paola Rainieri, Chief Marketing Officer of Grupo Puntacana.
Also in attendance were influential members of the Dominican Republic’s tourism and business sectors, such as David Collado, the Minister of Tourism, and key figures from Grupo Puntacana’s leadership team.
The event featured a series of engaging tennis clinics, providing a unique opportunity for participants of all ages to learn from the tennis sensation.
Each clinic provided personalized coaching from one of the sport’s top players, giving participants the opportunity to improve their skills and gain valuable insights. Throughout the day, homeowners at Puntacana Resort and members of the Oscar de la Renta Tennis Center had unlimited access to the Oscar de la Renta courts, with hitting partners available for casual play at their convenience. Participants also enjoyed a selection of delicious food and beverages throughout the 3-hour event and had the chance to take home a photo with Carlos and get some of their items signed by him. The day wrapped up with a “Meet & Greet” session, where Alcaraz connected with fans, homeowners at Puntacana Resort, and members of the Oscar de la Renta Tennis Center.
