MALDIVES, THE LUXURY PAR EXCELLENCE

The Maldives is located in the Indian Ocean of South Asia. It consists of 1.190 islands of crystalline waters, and white sandy beaches, and its capital is called Male. Due to its location in the Equator,  the climate in the islands is wonderful for a beach day. The temperatures fluctuate between 25 and 32 degrees Celsius throughout the year, perfect to visit it any time of the year. Coral is the protagonist in these islands; in the past, Maldivians built their houses with it. LUX Tennis is currently working in four different resorts in the country:

Soneva Jani

Inspired by a word that means ‘wisdom’ in Sanskrit, Soneva Jani encompasses a collection of Water Villas and Island Sanctuaries set within a lagoon of crystal clear waters, fringed by pristine beaches and blanketed in lush tropical greenery. The highlight of the islands that the resort calls home is the 5.6-kilometer private lagoon that surrounds it; an azure spectacle that inspires a sense of calm.

Soneva Jani, located in the Medhufaru lagoon in the Noonu Atoll, comprises five islands, the largest of which is Medhufaru, which is 150 acres in size.

Finolhu

In translation Finolhu means “sandbank”. Opened in 2016, Seaside Finolhu is one of the best beach resorts in Maldives. It stretches across four islands and its beaches are about two kilometres long. Tropical plants line the sandy paths of the main island like in a botanical garden. As a guest in Finolhu you immerse yourself in different worlds, and not just underwater. With its 125 private villas and four restaurants, the resort is as varied as the coral landscape of Baa Atoll.

LUX North Male Atoll Resort

Dotted around the island are gorgeous contemporary, two-storey overwater and beach villas, each decked with a private rooftop and a pink-rimmed infinity pool that blends seamlessly with the warm pale-blue waters. Here days are spent under the Maldivian sun, drenched in luxury. Extraordinary service, a breathtaking dose of design, innovative dining concepts, and all the details that take a holiday from good to perfect.

Amilla Fushi

Whitewashed villas sit over turquoise waters at our Baa Atoll Maldives resort. The minimalist lines of sun-kissed beach houses contrast against the curves of swaying palms. The Maldives is unlike any other place on Earth. From the undisturbed natural ecosystem beneath the sea to the luxurious amenities to enchanting foods, welcome to paradise.
