NICOLÁS ALMAGRO TO JOIN A SPECIAL STAR EVENT IN LA RESIDENCIA, A BELMOND HOTEL IN MALLORCA

In June 2021, LUX Tennis organized a special event in La Residencia, a Belmond hotel with the tennis celebrity Nicolas Almagro, former world N°9 player in the world. The event took place from June 24th to June 27th, four days of a great experience in which the participants could improve their tennis with a former ATP top 10 player. The stunning hotel is located in Mallorca and the weather was wonderful to play some tennis at the extraordinary courts of the hotel.

Event details

Nicolas Almagro had a successful tennis career that lasted until April 2019, when he retired. Nico turned pro in 2003 and played on the ATP for 16 years. He was right-handed and one-handed backhand. He ended up conquering 13 ATP titles and reaching four Grand Slam quarterfinals. Roland Garros in 2008, 2010, and 2012 and, Australian Open in 2013. His best ATP ranking was number 9 in the world. His last professional tournament was the Murcia Open in 2019, at the age of 33.

The event offered the participants different opportunities to play with Nico: in a Tennis Clinic, Vintage Social Tennis, and Private Lessons. All great opportunities to improve the tennis skills of the participants. Whether they were beginners or confirmed players, they had an unforgettable experience with Nico!
